About

Clara Tassara (1980) is a fine art photographer who finds nature like a refuge and a source of healing. After losing her parents and sister, the connection to the natural world became her way of finding peace and expressing what she feels. Through her photography, she aims to transform this personal experience into a means of communication that invites others to reflect and connect with the beauty and strength of the natural world.

She studied fashion design at IED and worked as a stylist for magazines such as Telva, Harper’s Bazaar NYC, and Marie Claire. In 2010-2011, she also studied photography at EFTI in Madrid for two years, which deepened her technical skills and artistic vision. Her background in fashion and her intensive photographic training have given her a keen eye for aesthetics and beauty, which are evident in her work.

Her work focuses on exploring landscapes, mineral formations, wild vegetation, and unique structures that seem to transcend time and space. With a poetic and silent approach, she seeks to show how form, texture, and presence can reveal the pure, mysterious essence of nature, stripping away distractions to focus on what truly matters.

Beyond aesthetics, her goal is to use photography as a tool for awareness and consciousness, an invitation to value and care for our environment. For her, images are not just records but a means for introspection and understanding the world in its most authentic state.
